June 5, 200224 yr Hi,That would be Hennie coming over to visit! Hi Hennie, getting good fuel mileage I see! (Jimmy waves.....) :)Allan, how do you get the narratives between the pics? That was a nice feature in the old forum I miss and also the ability to preview the pics as well as the text. I've only been able to preview the text in my posts and haven't figured out how to get the text between the pics. Or is that top secret stuff? Thanks,Jim B.
June 5, 200224 yr Hi Jim,Top secert stuff :-lol NopeStart your message.Load your first picture.Look in the window at the bottom. (Attachment window)You'll have the file number there(Something like) 3c8957662e345645.jpg Etc.Hold your mouse over that and wipe to highlite it.(red)Right click, Choose Cut.Move mouse cursur up where you'd like your picture.Click, then Right click and Paste that number thereMove the cursur to the front of that number and typehttp://ftp.avsim.com/dcforum/User_files/There's a underscore between the User_files/And this is case sensitivePreviewThe picture should be there.Repeat as needed. If you still can't get it Repost here I'll take a few shots of the process for you.Have Fun :-jumpyhttp://avsim.com/hangar/air/bfu/logo70.gifAllan
June 5, 200224 yr Thanks Allan,I've added that to a folder I've recently started, trying to compile tips I've been finding here and the old forum. I started that when a new member posted for information on a faq or knowledge base for new FU3ers and I found all I could do for help was search the forums. Hopefully I can get this organized and it will be helpful someday. Especially for myself, forgetful as I've been getting lately.Jim B.
June 5, 200224 yr Your welcome Jim,One of our BFU Pilots figured that out shortly after we went to this new system. It seems like a bit of a pain at first to use it, But it only takes a few practice pictures and then it's as easy or almost as easy as the old way.Have Fun :-jumpyhttp://avsim.com/hangar/air/bfu/logo70.gifAllan
June 5, 200224 yr I have a text file on my desktop with about 15 lines of:http://ftp.avsim.com/dcforum/User_files/Then I just cut the address from the attachment window and paste it after that... do all my pics then clean out the extras and add my comments. (works for me anyway)Nice pics!
