June 1, 200323 yr I have just installed the Detonator 43.51 drivers, and configured the anti-aliasing and anisotropic filtering using RivaTuner to 4xS and 8x respectively. However, I am not sure that FSAA is working properly. The jagged edges of the distant mountains seem to be far more pronounced than they were with the 30.82 drivers, and I don't have that annoying line through the panel and other cockpit views.Just to make this absolutely clear, I would rather accept the line through the panel in order to get excellent FSAA ! I know that Jon uses the Detonator 43.51 drivers, so I would be interested in your results with these drivers (together with those of anyone else who uses them).Chris Low,ENGLAND. June 1, 200323 yr Chris Low,I tryed the 43.51 drivers, but I could not see any improovment. So I tested my system using a bench testing program caled 3DMark2000.It showed my system to be a bit slower, so I went back to using the 31.50 drivers. What you hav tiked in RivaTuner is irelevant.Just bicous RivaTuner ses your geting 8x this or 16x that,It dont meen your geting It.glidernut
June 1, 200323 yr Author John,I was getting 4xS anti-aliasing and 8x anisotropic filtering when using RivaTuner with the 30.82 drivers, because I could tell the difference.Chris Low,ENGLAND. June 1, 200323 yr I don't know about the 43.51's, but I've got the new 44.03's and I am quite happy with them on my GF4 MX (and I haven't been happy with any drivers since the 29.42's).-hoo
