Note for airport developers

Featured Replies

I have just noticed something that I thought should be brought to the attention of all FLED airport developers. I was watching the AI traffic at San Francisco International, and I heard ATC inform one of the AI pilots to "taxi to Runway 28L via Foxtrot, Foxtrot, Foxtrot". I was puzzled by this, since I was almost certain that every section of this taxiway was designated. However, when I looked at this in FLED, I noticed that one section that I had modified slightly had been designated with "f". All of the SanFran International taxiway designations are denoted with capital letters, so the rest were "F".In other words, the AI is assuming that "f" and "F" are two different taxiway designations. This is something that I wasn't aware of previously, and it is worth noting. It seems that you need to use either ALL capitals, or ALL lower case, but NEVER a mixture of the two.Chris Low,ENGLAND.
