Recommended aircraft?

Featured Replies

What do you fellow recommend as good aircraft to download for FU3? I'd welcome any recommended utility, ai, and scenenry updates aswell.

Just look through the FU3 section of the AVSIM library. You will find lots of everything.

Sure... why not download them all ? :-)

So much choice and so many talented developers. Jon Points Dash-8 is nice model as is the Blanik (if you like gliding). The 747 is also a beauty but as has been said, get the lot.Have funAndy

What sort of flying experience are you chasing? For the challenge of flying 'seat of the pants', try the P-51 or the GeeBee. If that's not enough, try Ansgar's 'Dago Red' P-51 racer (keep a set of fresh underwear handy). For sheer speed, you can't beat the Blackbird! For long distance, the 747/747SP and B400 are great. To sample FU3's great scenery, nearly anything else will do. As the freeware planes are personal creations, they reflect the creator's intents. If you like gliding, try the Stemme, Blanik or ASW (when it is released...).It really depends what you like to do. When flying, I prefer to 'have a job to do'. In other words, even if I'm flying the Muskrat, I like to pretend I'm doing it for a job. Check out Dexta Kofa's 'FSS' software - a perfect add-on for a lot of us.If you have any plane-specific questions, please post them ;):-wave******************* Jonathan Point *******************

Pray where do I find the B400? My kind of flying is medium haul twin engine stuff. I like trying the trickest landing strips with them!

Jon,What is a B400 ?Chris Low.

Oh my goodness :-lol :-lol :-lolIt's the beautiful gleaming beast on the box and everyone's (well many people's) favourite - The Beechcraft B400 'Beechjet'!!I thought you all knew...:-wave******************* Jonathan Point *******************

Jon,I must be the world's greatest idiot. I suppose that it's simply because I always refer to it as the Beechjet, and I was assuming that "B400" referred to some kind of Beechcraft King Air (like the B200).I will see if I can find my brain in a cupboard somewhere :-hmmm Chris Low.
