I purchased a new Asus motherboard PCI express ,ATI radion 1600 PCI ex with 512 ram .AMD processor 4800 xp2 dual core .and 2gig ram Upgraded my box and win 98 wouldn't support drivers for new board.So I loaded XP over 98 to upgrade .After much tweeking and reinstalling some programs ,Started FU3 and had to configure joy config again ,(thanks Seadog )Now all is well and getting 32 frames. Double what it was . A real fast machine now .So far no problems and XP is much more stable.CaptRolo

Hey, Captain, that sounds like a real sweet setup. Glad to hear you're having a grand time with it. You'll really come to enjoy the much greater stability of XP. It's a hassle at first to get used to all the new things in it, and new ways of doing things, new places things are stored, but it's really worth it after all is said and done.
