February 4, 200719 yr I don't think I would like to try this manouvre in a C172. How did this guy get away with it? CheersBruce H
February 4, 200719 yr Bruce,He didn't from what I read! You will notice a puff of dust coming off No1 engine, just as he passes the first piano keys. THAT puff of dust is the engine hitting pavement and cost $US1.4 million. The plane was delayed until the engine was replaced.Kai Tak (old Honkers AP) was notorious for this kind of thing - I remember watching people hanging laundry out as we decended between the buildings :-eekThis guy didn't make it...http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/166226.jpgNow, speaking of Cessnas...http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/166227.jpgRegards,Jon Point
