FU3 compatibility with Windows Vista

Recommended Posts

FSX is designed for XP, but like 90% of the XP games, it runs on Vista as well. A full Vista/DX10 patch will be released this fall.FSX is really interesting. The default scenery looks artificial and runs at 2 FPS (5 FPS on a Cray). Photoscenery support is greatly improved however. England and Wales looks stunning with 1m texture and 5m elevation mesh. TileProxy is a fascinating Beta program that allows you to fly over Glooble Firth and other map services in realtime, giving the sim large photoreal areas to fly over just like FU3.

Flight simulation outside of FU3 will continue to be beyond my grasp until someone develops another detailed, self contained flightsim world that doesn't require me to empty my bank account in the process.
