March 27, 200818 yr hey all im always making new airoprts, but i can never quite understan the numbers and gibberish in the aiplan for the reigion.can anyone explain the numbers so i can make efficient plans.
March 27, 200818 yr I assume that you mean the LEG statements ? The numbers are as follows......Departure airport elevationMinimum cruising altitudeArrival airport elevationMinimum terrain elevation during the flightMaximum cruising altitudeThe minimum cruising altitude should be set higher than the maximum terrain elevation over which the AI plane will fly. Of course, this can only be approximated (and the system certainly isn't perfect), but it reduces the chance of the AI plane flying THROUGH mountains !The maximum cruising altitude should be set to a sensible value, (4000-8000 feet, unless there are some REALLY high mountains around). Just don't ask a Cessna to climb to 50,000 feet ;-) Christopher Low AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU / 64GB DDR5-6000 RAM / 12GB Nvidia RTX 4070 Super GPU / Gigabyte X870E Aorus Elite Wifi 7 / 1+2TB Samsung Evo Plus M2 Nvme UK2000 Beta Tester
