Recommended Posts

Hi All, I have been having problems with my newly aquired products. I have managed to install and calibrate them but when i reboot my system i lose all the settings and i have to start from scratch. I have downloaded the control utility from the manufacters web site to try to recitfy the problem to no avail. Infact this utilty only causes more problems! (I'm sure i'm not using it correctly but the instructions are as clear as mud!) I was advised by someone to try a plug in USB card to see if that helps! It doesnt!!!!!! Has anyone had this problem before! Can you help???? Cheers Daren :-beerchug

Hi Daren,Welcome aboard. :-)We will need your complete sytem specs, but I would also encourage you to use the search feature for the words CH Products Yoke & Pedals in this forum, and you will most likely solve the problem. You may want to uninstall the CH Control Manager and let windows run it, if that is the OS that you have. Then give it a try again. There is also a program in the File Library here that is a great tool. It is called FSUIPC, but make sure you read the instructions on joystick settings.Let me know if this helps,Regards,Joe :-wave.Oshkosh Pictures From 2001 (Part 1) 78 Pics in Frames with 1mb in ThumbnailsHigh speed connection Recommended:http://home.attbi.com/~flypics1/FrameSet.htm.Oshkosh Pictures From 2001 (Part 2) 106 Pics in Frames with 1.5mb in ThumbnailsHigh speed connection recommended:http://home.attbi.com/~flypics2/FrameSet.htm.Picture Gallery of My Flight in a 1945 SNJ-6 on June 1st, 2002Joliet, Illinoishttp://home.attbi.com/~jranos/FrameSet.htm.http://home.attbi.com/~jranos/mysig.jpg http://avsim.com/hangar/air/bfu/logo70.gif

Hey joe, Thanks for your prompt reply! Please find specs below! I have fsuipc but the figures puzzle me! If you could offer any help about that i would greatly appreciate it! I have run the controllers with both the OS System looking after them and with the control manager doing the bizz. No joy either way! Have you got any ideas? Ok, are these USB Yoke and pedals, and tell me about your USB devices, and ports and what is plugged in where, including location of ports on computer. Also make and model of computer if it is brand name. I don't have Win XP, so I cannot conclude whether that is a cause or not. It is most likely related to USB or CH Control manager. Do you have any other programs or devices plugged in when this is occuring.List every USB device connected, also.Joehttp://home.attbi.com/~jranos/mysig.jpg http://avsim.com/hangar/air/bfu/logo70.gif

Right! I have 3 USB devices. Ch Pro Pedals Ch Pro Flight Sim Yoke LE HP Printer PSC 750 The printer is plugged into the one of the USB ports in the mother board. There are 2 in total! The controllers on the other hand are plugged into my new USB card. This is in one of the spare ports below the video card. I have one spare port left! Does this help? Daren

What happens if you plug both yoke and pedals into the motherboard and leave the printer unpluged? Also it would have been better to buy a powered usb hub instead of the card. Also you might try reinstalling directx, sometimes this gets corrupted.Ed

I couldn't get them to run at all (Win XP Pro) unless I ran the control utility. Yep, it's clear as mud how to use it, but here's what I did:Run the utility, and add both of your devices to it. Then save this map (doesn't matter where or what name) and use the "Activate Current Map" function. That should be all you need to do. I did have to go into FSUPIC and adjust the sensitivity of the pedals (because otherwise the brakes were always on). But everything else worked (and continues to work).
