Samples, where are they

Featured Replies

HiJust purchased RC online. I feel stupid to ask this question, but where are the sample files? Aren't they something that I should be able to try before I buy?Do I have to program the route and the compile it, or are these downloadable sample files? Like I said, I feel stupid that I can't figure this out myself.Appreciate the help.

Hi Mr. X :-)I see JD posted the link to the samples. That should help. You can fly the samples just as an adventure you make yourself, it's the full RC program in action! To have adventures of your own making you need to own the program, which I see you do. :-))Welcome to the world of ATC in flt sim.... enjoy, and post here if you have questions, comments or whatever.Best, Rob

http://avsim.com/flightdeck/images/Radar_small.gifBeta tester for http://www.jdtllc.com' target="_blank">Radar Contact] the premier ATC adventure add-on for FS

Appreciate the quick response. And I still feel stupid. Just don't see the sample adventures in the flight menu of FS2002. Even after downloading all the progam files, I still wonder how I have access to the sample files. Shouldn't they be listed in the Select Flight menu?I really appologize if I sound stupid. when you downloaded the samples file (rcv22samples.exe), you executed it right? it should have created the advwavfleetwood directory under you flight sim root directorythe adventures themselves are put into fs2000adv or fs2002flightsfs2kadv

Thanks JD, I got it now. Just never clicked on the Download link on the sample page, since I thought that it was the link to the general/program download page. Really looking forward to this program. Used PF2000 for a while, but didn't think it was too realistic. Been watching your forum for a while. From what I've seen you guys are mostly using FSNav, what about FSBuild? What is the prefered planner for the RC users? Thanks again.Herb
