What is it that makes RC2.2 best in the USA?

Featured Replies

Hi,Having flown only once with RC2.2, I'm puzzled by the following quotation from the support pages:"We're looking for our European friends to enhance their databases to where they too can be incorporated in Radar Contact! That's right... our goal is for you to be able to fly anywhere in the world, Radar Contact!"The adventure I made was between two Danish airports, and it worked much as I anticipated. What will be better if I try to fly in the USA?

>>What will be better if I try to fly in the USA?Nothing! Currently there are only US controller voices & US, UK & Dutch pilots voices. The extract you quote from the RC web site is, I believe, a plea for non-US RC users to record pilot/controller voices in their native accents.

and the centers have no names in europe (resp. outside the us)Regards, mmmol

How about airport "Names", instead of the "Kilo Alpha Tango Lima Airport" as now. Don't know how they do it, but MS tries to pronounce the airport names. Hope they release the SDK for this feather so you can also include it in RC 3.0.Steve ParkPresident Livewire AirlinesFlight Director Livewire AirlinesHub Manager KATL/KDFW
