You can fly them, but you are responsible to plan and fly them correctly. There won't be any names for them and RC only knows about them because waypoints are within 40 miles of the airport (and you can check an option to fly anything you like in that distance, but you have to cross everything you have planned).>Also voice reqognition will be very welcome(its realy posible if al keystrokes are differend you use with RC)!V3 uses a menu not unlike the default ATC, except a lot more complicated. There are a nyriad of options and sub-options, all selected by number (1-5. 5 items per page, infinite pages). With timing delays and sub-menus, voice recognition would be very difficult to do. Perhaps in some future release.

Regarding Sids/Stars, why don't you guys make a utility for us tocreate and record Sid and Stars in RC 3? instead of making an entire world of Sids/stars, a couple can come with the program, and we can make some for the airports we wish to fly.Dosen't seem that complicated. i could do that, but every person that has recorded a controller set would have to record the dp/stars you want, as well as the pilot and co-pilot. there are already 1800+ wavs the controllers are recording, and there are 15 controllers, at the moment.otherwise, controller doug is going to give a clearance in his voice, and then your voice will say the name, and then doug will finish the clearance.wouldn't work.

Not only that, you would still have to code every single DP/STAR in the program, and maybe - MAYBE - there's a wav for it and it's named correctly.

been there, there done that. i made the beta testers endure about a month of text to speech. they begged me to make it stop. if they didn't like it, i know i didn't like it, i know you would have hated it :-)

WOW, so it wasn't a bad idea(Text to Speech) :-) :-)....Last but not least, "WE ALL HOPE" that in the 'NEAR' future there's an ATC program with voicerecognition and a SID/STAR databasewich you can fly on........Please be quick otherwise other developers will doo the job, I'm realy sure of that! Jaco,Doing ATC is really, really hard. Radar Contact started out very small and had several competitors. Radar Contact is now the only main program left.VR may or may not come along, but with the sheer complexity of doing ATC "as real as it gets", even MS couldn't compete with all thetime and resources they have.Look at how V2 is now. V3 is so far above that it's like comparing FS2002 to FS2. Imagine how RCv4 will look.

Hi again,I rememer : a few months back there was a poll about an ATC program on Avsim.There where some ATC developers who liked to know how people think about an ATC program with SIDS/STARS and even voicerecognition.I gave my E-mail adres to them, and I never heard again from them?Is someone remember this poll on AVSIM?....I wrote a note to AVSIM about it...never heard something too?Who can remember?
