Place yourself at departure Airport

Featured Replies

Guys this new little problem has just reared its ugly little head.I have been trying to fly some adventures in Australia but every time I start RC2.2 it tells me to place myself at the departure airport and start again. I am definetly at the departure airport but it still will not work. I am using FSbuild to generate the flightplan. Could this have something too do with it. When I fly in North America everything works fine. The plane I am flying is the PSS A320.Thanks for all the helpReece RosenblattAustralia.

sounds like fsbuild may be exporting invalid coordinates for downunder. do you have the latest fsbuild? send me a copy of the .apl and i'll take a look.

JD,I have just downloaded the newest version of FSBuild but still no luck. I have attached the .apl file as requested. This problem only just started occuring. I could once fly in Australia no problems.Reece RosenblattAustralia

Reece,As far as RC is concerned, this plan has the airports and the waypoints in the Northwestern Hemisphere.Longitudes with a minus (-) are West, positive are East. Latitudes with minus (-) are South, positive are North. My guess without looking is that RC thinks you are starting somewhere around the Azores or the middle of the Atlantic Ocean (probably somewhere closer to the equator with 20 degrees North latitude). If there's a way to reverse signs in FSBuild, try that and recompile.
