August 19, 200223 yr Hi I have returned back to using RC v2.2 after exploring all the inadequacies of FS2002's built in ATC. I run Win XP on an Athlon 1.4 and I compiled the following route using FSNAV 4.? and compiling it with Radar Contact. I was flying a PSS Airbus 320. The route:EGGP27 STOCK2T UL975 OTR UY70 DOGGA UY70 BLUFA BLUFA(star)EHAM27Basically Liverpool to Amsterdam. The plan was exported and compiled without problem but halfway through the flight after clearing the STOCK2T sid on route to DOGGA ( 100 deg) I was told to head 265 until suitable for further navigation or words to that effect. I checked my plan with the FMG on the A320 and with the plan on FSNAV and I was exactly on course, bang on the line.I followed orders and after 50 nm realised that I was not being told to head back on course. I followed the plan and everytime I changed controllers I was told to head in the opposite direction ' until suitable for further....' What does it mean, it spoilt what was an interesting flight. I get an extra 5 fps when I use Radar Contact over the built in ATC.Mike LiverpoolEngland
August 19, 200223 yr Commercial Member sounds like you missed a checkpoint. is this a departure procedure? if so, you must fly within 2 miles of each checkpoint to get credit for it JD Read my blog
