JD and Doug thought long and hard about this. Here is why:When Version 1.0 was released, it was download only. The setup files were small enough, that anyone could download it. When we released Version 2.0, the setup files were much bigger, and we decided to offer it on CD as well as download. We also priced the CD option higher, since it involved extra expenses.During the summer of 2002, the biggest support issue that we faced, were people having trouble downloading the version 2.2 files. Most of them ended up paying the extra few dollars, and we sent them a CD. Version 3 will barely fit on a CD, which means the download is considerably bigger. Because of the size of the downloads, the number of problems with downloading and the added expenses of bandwidth and storage space, we will not offer Version 3 via download.
