hi,just a quick question with a VFR flight,will RCV3 have the ability to vector me to a field if i instruct to do so,for example say i take of from lax and fly around abit in my cessna and then i want to land at the nearest field, say santa barbara will atc give me vectors to the active at that field?thx

If you leave LAX and have Flex Dep checked in RC options plus Santa Barbara as an alternate in RC Controllers page, you could fly around in a 30 mile radius of LAX undisturbed then use the menu to request landing at Santa Barbara (your alternate) and get those vectors. It doesn't matter what your destination airport is for this flight plan as long as it's not right next door to LAX. ;-)Best, Rob
