GOT THE MANUAL, READ IT, LOVED IT!!!

Featured Replies

I printed (in the office - of course) and read EVERY page of the manual (in the office - of course) which itself is a great Job!! As a completely newbie on RC, I have to say that I am impressed.... There'sj a response to every question, including the silly ones, I think that the known RTFM (Read the F%$#@ Manual) really applies here.If that piece of software does half the tricks the manual says... then it is a "must have" !!!!$44... mmmmmmm.... I have to start saving....no, wait it's christmas!!! Yeeeehaaaah!!!GR.

There is so much that version 3 does, that only a trained professional like doug and larry would even notice.for instance, make a flight plan, from a full controlled airport (ground, tower, departure), make your destination an airport that has no approach controller, just tower and ground. find an alternate that has an approach controller, but no tower, no ground. then find another alternate that has no approach controller, no tower, no ground.fly the plan, and do a missed approach at your destination. fly each of your possible "intentions" after a missed approach. when you have flown all those, do a missed approach, and go to one of your alternates.because it is a different type of field (Controller-wise), land, and do missed approaches until you have flown all those. then go to your other alternate.there are probably hundreds of combinations here. we know, we flew them.then the next dat, get out your charts, and fly every "approach" available at each of the airports in your plan."report back" around january.you're going to love it!
