fs meteo has been around the longest, it pioneered a lot of the weather generation practices. most of the rc beta testers have used fs meteo for years.active sky is a newcomer, it has some interesting improvements planned.many active sky beta testers use rc.check both web sites out. see what is most important to you, and see which product best suits your needs.

I was using FSmeteo and I am now using activesky. Both work very well with RC. Activesky does not have a wx guage llike fsmeteo does but maybe the pay version will. I like both programs but IMHO activesky seems to run a little smoother. I have not detected any FPS loss at all where with fsmeteo I did detect a slight loss. Again, my opinon only, and maybe due to my equipment. Both are excellent programs.Larry
