December 4, 200223 yr First let me echo my overall happiness with v3 but wish for better and smoother controller voices. HOWEVER-After being cleared to land (KDEN) with an AI aircraft about a mile ahead I did land, but while on rollout was told to "Go around", then told to exit next taxiway. On my flight critique I got chewed out for landing after being told to go around, and I lost my license! ???I have had the usual AdvDisp problems but seem to have got it straight now. I like to use the FSATC progressive taxi feature but find it hard to integrate it smoothly. I have also had problems occasionally with (`) not bringing up the ATC screen while using RCv3 after I have landed at my destination and desiring to use the progressive taxi feature to get to the gate. Anyone else with that problem?
December 4, 200223 yr Commercial Member did you acknowledge the cleared to land clearance from tower? were your gears up when you were about 2 miles from the runway?if the answer to the first is no, and the 2nd question yes, i can see how that would happen. i don't think anyone tried not answering tower, with their gear up.just a thought.never use ` so i can't help with the progressive taxi "thingy" JD Read my blog

December 4, 200223 yr All of this points to running out of memory. The first thing to go is the ATC system. The only times I've lost the ATC window is when I have about 400k or less of free memory left. Restart the AI after calling APC and this can go away. It depends. You may also wish to try using something like RamBooster or other memory cleaner. If FS were a gas tank, you'd never leave your garage with all the leaks.As for getting a Go Around AFTER landing, that's a new one. JD may have the answer, but it can again point to running out of memory and RC got backed up. If you have auto-reply did you or the CP acknowledge Tower's landing clearance?
