December 5, 200223 yr Eric,Firstly, please define "adventure" and "imported".Do you mean you load an FS2000 or FS2002 plan (*.pln) file that you exported from FSNav, or a Radar Contact *.apl file exported from FSNav into Radar contact?
December 5, 200223 yr Commercial Member you should take your flight plan in fsnavigator, and save it as (or export it as) fs2000/fs2002 .pln formatthen read in that .pln file with rc JD Read my blog
December 5, 200223 yr Hi Scott,by adventure I mean Flightplan apl from FS nav into Radar ContactI think this may be irrelavent because I have since tried to select other plans under FS2000 adventures and I get the same lockup it may be a general FS2002 problem because I can`t uninstall FS2002either which I attempted as a last resort, perhaps you can advise me on this one Scott, I hope so.Ps I used the add & remove method. I didn`t try norton cleansweepin case It removed all the addons as well.thanks for your interest.Eric

December 5, 200223 yr Eric,Unless you're talking about RC 2.2, you don't want to load an adventure. If you are using RCv3, then you esport from FSNav to FS2000 plan format, then run RC and load that *.pln file.If you are talking about RC2.2, then you export to RC format, DO NOT move runways from one side to the other, then load and compile in RC.However, the key here is RC v3 isn't an adventure compiler. If you can clear this up we can probably help you.As for uninstalling FS2002, are you planning to reinstall or just leave it off?
December 5, 200223 yr Commercial Member rick did a whole chapter in the manual on this.look at the quick start guidealso look at the flight planning section. takes you through making the plan, exporting the plan, reading the plan into rcthere are NO adventures involved in this process.start fs200x, start rc, read a .pln file, click start. December 5, 200223 yr Hi Eric,The way I read your statement is you are first saving your flight plan in FSNavigator. This is correct. Next you are exporting to Radar Contact. Is that correct? You do not want to choose Radar Contact on the Export menu. You want to choose FS2002.When it locks up is there any kind of an error message displayed? As Scott explained above once you have your flight plan exported you can either load that plan into the built-in FS2002 flight planner (if you want to use GPS map) or skip that step and run Radar Contact.
