hat switch

Recommended Posts

Guest

When I first got FS2002, I was haveing a problem with the hat switch, in that it would not pan a view. I have set it to pan-a-view in the assignments menu, but I am still only getting still views. I had it working at one time, but since reformatting, can't find the post and still can't figure it out. Please help! Thanks

Keith,Just to clarify; you're getting still views in 2D cockpit or virtual cockpit? I've never been able to pan in 2D, only in virtual.Rick

now this is interesting. I can pan in virtual, but never really flew in it, but pan used to work in 3d mode as well. I will try flying in virtual, looks fun! I am still searching. Thanks

Hi KeithI have been having panning mode in FS2002 for a longtime, both in VC and 2D modes. I use CH flightsim yoke LE USB.I can also without problem pan with hat switch - but unfortunately omly the right one!Perhaps you should give this a try: ;)(Taken from a FAQ file):30) Cockpit view panning with keys solved:Thanks to the ever awesome Peter Dowson, I now have cockpit view panning!!In the FS2002.cfg file, under [CONTROLS] put this line:pan_in_cockpit_mode=1Amazing!Don't forget to reassign the pan keys to the pan functions in 2K2 under Options/Controls/Assignments. All the panning keys have been reassigned to "Eye Position", so you can fix this.By Scott Campbell 2nd November 2001RegardsHenrikBGGH
