Here's my third post....I don't know if anybody is paying attention, but if someone is:The program loaded up great. Yes, The wave files were verrrrrrrrrrry slooooooooooooooooow! I changed the priority to high and it sped it up. However, it is still slow, but better. I defraged and used EndItAll to get more power. Even turned down the sound bar in DirectX, but still needs some tweaking. The overall program is working as advertised.....GOOD!!!! I hope the sound situation can be finally solved with a patch or something.Great Product!! I just enchanced the fun of Simming!!Paul

:-lol We're watching!Be sure to ack Rick for quick key turnarounds :-). He's driving the shipping/key truck. When things settle a bit, we'll see more of him on the forum.Without hearing what you're hearing, it's difficult to determine what's up respect to slowness. Everyone's ear is different. There's several posts regarding this. Other settings have helped. I do know, the problem isn't directly related to RC (a patch won't fix this). What sound card are you using? Reason I ask Paul is, I've got the SB Live. Changing Hardware Accel settings made a difference too. I'd set it to Low, RC flew like a Lear. Set it to High, like a Corvair (chunk, chunk, chunk...).However!, the next guy who tried what worked for me got opposite results. High worked best, Low not so good. Play with it, it'll all come together ;).

I am.I am reading / finding reviews on here to justify upgrading from V2 =)Thanks for posting>Here's my third post....I don't know if anybody is paying >attention, but if someone is: >>Paul

Doug,I too have SB Live, however I am ignorant as to how to change the hardware settings. Where or how do I find the settings and how do I make the changes? Thanks!Paul

Hi Paul,In order to change the setting you must have the Creative Labs software that came with the card loaded. I'm talking about the Creative Launcher software, HQ Audio etc.I posted a thread about how to change the settings. Click on this link:http://ftp.avsim.com/cgi-bin/dcforum/dcboa...rum=DCForumID31to get there.

I'm Back..........Well, I got the sound files to sound better by changing the priority via the batch file. That runs great! RC 3.0 is terrific!!!! It's like having ProFlight 2000 on FS2002, without the standing on my head!Paul
