  1. Hello,Fellow Simmers, we must remember that Flight is a game more than a Sim. With that in mind, we shouldn't have too high of expectations...With that said, I think it is a good game! Being a "simmer" for many years, I am finding FLIGHT a good compliment to FSX. If I want to "sim", I will open FSX...If I want to play a game having to do with flying, I will open FLIGHT.Now moving on to another thought........I have found that if I want to make FLIGHT more enjoyable, I will open up LIVEATC.NET and have Honolulu International ATC play in the background while I am flying around Oahu........My humble opinions...Paul
  2. Hello,I know that discussing the upcoming release of "FLIGHT" is a sensitive subject, however I am curious to know, after reading some of the reviews of FLIGHT, if one can use a joystick in this new sim rather than just the mouse or keyboard? Thank you in advance for any knowledgable answer!Paul
  3. In the United States of America, we take the time today to remember the many men and women who gave their time and life to defend this country..I would like to personally say Thank You to all of you who are serving or have served in our armed forces and I take a moment in quietness out of respect for those who gave their life's!Thank you!!!Paul

  13. Hello,Why is it that if the weather settings are for rain, with full cloud coverage; you can never get full cloud coverage? In other words, the sky is never completely covered with clouds; there is always some blue sky. Can I do something to ensure full cloud coverage with no blue sky?Thank you for your help!Paul

  18. Hello,After reading about how good FSWaterConfiguration 3.5 was, I decided to try it out. (Let me say, I have REX 2.0 and the FTX NA series) Anyway, I thought I would experiment to see if I could make the water textures look better than what I had.......So I downloaded the FSWaterConfiguration and played with it a little bit. WAS I WRONG TO DO THAT!!! All I have now is blotchy blue squares for water.....I tried uninstalling FSWater and reloading water texure from REX 2.0 and even tried System Restore...Nothing is working...Can anybody give me an idea how to restore my water textures prior to me becoming a "Rocket Scientist"?Thank you,Paul
  19. Hello,Does anyone wonder why us "simmers" become Simaholics? After spending the initial $40.00 to $70.00 on MSSX, then we buy Scenery at $30. to $40. a pop, then more on aircraft and then more on weather software and then Flight Planning software, etc, etc, etc. WHEW!! After we are somewhat happy with what we created, it has cost us $500.00 to $1000.00!!!! This does not include the PC that we have to have that has enough power to handle our creation!!!Is there a doctor in the house???!!!
