Fantastic "Utah Complete" - thank you James Udall

Hi Folks, James Udall has provided us with an amazing FSX scenery addon about Utah. It completely changes the landscape of many areas of Utah (USA) and really shows some the great graphic capability we have in FSX.I highly recommend that you try Utah Complete (Avsim Library) and run a short comparison between default FSX and then FSX with Utah Complete installed.Suggestion: First try flying from St. George, Utah using the default scenery. I personally like flying at the start of dusk during summer, but choose whatever time/season is best for you. Look at the fantastic mountain scenery as you take off and fly around the area. After takeoff and reaching some altitude, look back at the airport. Then install Utah Complete and try the same flight. Fantastic is the primary word that came to my mind when I did that. It's hard to believe that the default scenery and Utah Completes' scenery are both for the same area! I've tried some of the other areas James has mentioned in the readme - fantastic mountain scenery etc. Also, try Salt Lake City flying over the city and looking at the downtown area - wonderful.....Many thanks again James.Cheers

I loaded this up today and had the same response. "Wow!" Then, "Thank you, James!"

Hard to believe it's freeware. Very nicely done. Thanks, James.Regards,Jim Karn

Thanks for the heads up. I try and read the front page every day to see what has been added to the library. How come this slipped through my gaze. :D

"..memory is the first to go.." doesn't apply? :-lol :-lol Regards,Jim KarnNOTHING is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.

Agreed. Installed it yesterday, took a quick tour, was very impressed, ans was going to post a 'heads up'/congrats myself. You beat me to it. Great stuff.

I can't wait to try this later. Utah is the most beautiful state in the country imo and fsx does it a serious disservice with its native install. How is monument valley with this scenery? It's horrible with the default fsx. Salt Lake City is also pretty sad with default scenery. Can't wait to try this!________________________________________________________________________________________________Intel D975XBX2 'Bad Axe 2' | Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 @ 3.20Ghz | 2 GB Super Talent DDR2 800 | Big Typhoon VX | eVGA 8800GTS @ 565/900 | Seagate 2x320GB SATA RAID-0 | OCZ GameXStream 700W | Creative X-Fi | Silverstone TJ-09BW | Matrox Triplehead Setup

The scenery certainly makes Utah a more interesting place to fly.

I was looking forward to this scenery, however when I went Salt Lake Intn., my machine was brought to it's knees....This is quite unusual for my machine....I know your asking to tell you about the rig....I'll I can say is it is a top of the line Alienware with a SLI video set up and lots of ram...Maybe I'll do some "teaking and try again.....Paul

Thanks!!Great scenery. I have enjoyed flying my new SW P40 over it. Great job.Nick

Absolutely superb. Well done James.Jaje
