Hey guys-Just got RC today and it only took 4 days! I read through the manual and I've been trying to do one of the tutorial flights (KDSM-KORD) using a CRJ. I seem to be having a lot of trouble with the ADVdisplay. I have never used this utilty but I downloaded it and installed per the instructions. The window seemed to pop open on the initial 'Create Flight' startup page in FS. Whenever I try to change screens (Select Aircraft, etc.) everything locks up and I have to shutdown/restart. A couple times it did open without the ADV box and I was able to get in a try the flight. I docked the ADV and contacted WX, Ground etc, but every time I contact ground, I get the dreaded Microsoft error and it shuts down. It did this 3 times in a row. Just wondering if anyone might have insight into what is going on?? Also, I'm wondering why the ADV box would pop up on the inital FS startup screen and sometimes it does not?? I'll do some more troubleshooting in the meantime! Thanks!Eric

check out the section in the manual about advdispalso there are several threads here on the forum dealing with advdisp, just do a search on advdisp.
