Hi All, I first started with the holding set at max. and that was short lived because they let me get close to my dest. and set me on some wild rectangular trek. I now have holding set on 8 and flew a trip with no holds. Wx was great between KORD/KPIT this afternoon with Fsmeteo.My question is the holding function in v3 determined by the wx conditions if you use fsmeteo ? Or what triggers the holding in v3 ?Thanks Nick

based on the slider, pure randomness. setting of 8 should cause an 80% chance of holding.butdepending on your flight plan, and your last checkpoint, you could set it to 10, and never be heldthe last checkpoint needs to be a vor, for holding to occur, albeit randomly

Jd, I missed this holding article by a mile in the RCv3 bible.So far I will read very closly the pages on holds so to kmow what to do in the event I am blessed with one. You can't say it's not there.Better luck tomorrow and I will have a vor as a last checkpointThank You Nick
