December 11, 200223 yr I selected a different plan and that seems to have gotten me started. Thanks very much for the clue. I will not be sending the .pln unless you still want it.Bob
December 11, 200223 yr Thanks for the jump start. I just needed to get past that hurdle. Now everything seems to be working fine. I am so rusty that ATC had me scrambling during my first test flight. Now I have to hit the books to get more proficient on the aircraft systems. Bob
December 11, 200223 yr Hi Bob, Sorry we couldn't hook up on MSN earlier. Glad you got RC running ok now, too. :-) I think that once everyone gets a few hours under thier belts with RC, it'll come thru loud and clear how good a model of ATC it is. Sure, it can be improved and just like Ver 2 and 3, Ver 4 will be the result of everyone here putting in their two cents and having these great discussions on how it is out in the real world. Sure is nice, eh? ;-)Best, Rob
December 11, 200223 yr The short flight I had was very nice. ATC kept yelling at me about my transonder and in the dark (night flight) I could not get it activated. Flying the Dash 7. I will try again in daylight and will get things properly preflighted before takeoff. I was most impressed with the intelligence of the model. I only have a few hours IFR (with instructor) in real life as I am not IFR rated but RC3 sure adds a higher level of realism to the sim.
