December 11, 200223 yr HiMaybe i have overseen something, but how should one turn the plane during push-back?? In the old days before RC vers. 3, you hit 1 or 2 depending on what direction you want to turn, but... - instead one e.g. get ground control... Have you assigned some other buttons? I had a look in the assignements, buty yours had overwritten whatever it said before..Is there a workaround??
December 12, 200223 yr Commercial Member you may need to assign new keys to the radar contact functions. on the options page, you will see a button called Keys (or something like that ;-) ). try setting ctrl-shift-1 to menu option 1, ctrl-shift-2 to menu option 2, etc.that way you can use 1 and 2 for pushback JD Read my blog
December 12, 200223 yr Thank's!! It's done... :-)Hehe - i have one thing more!! ;-) It's said somewhere, that you only have to dig your way through the various libraries until you get to myflts once - then RC will remember it.. Unfortunately it isn't so with my version. I have to do it everytime.. Is it me or is the program making fun with me?? :-lol
December 12, 200223 yr Or maybe another example of the decimal symbol/list separator "problem", jd?Lars, have a look in Control Panel and see what character Windows uses for the 'decimal symbol' and list 'separator'. Standard US/UK practice is to use the point '.' for decimals and the comma ',' for the list separator. Maybe you use something different?PeteP;http://jdtllc.com/images/RCbeta.jpg

December 16, 200223 yr I still suffers from the problem with RC not being able to remember the path to where my flightplans are. Well - a few times it suddenly does, with no explanation.. - like once every ten times. When the flight is over and i'm about to close down, i first turn off Radar Contact and then the simulator.. I don't use the "save flight" option in Radar Contact - is that the problem? (It suddenly struck me)..There's nothing in read-only mode.. It's a minor thing and it don't ruin my day - i'm actually quite an expert by now, finding the flightplans manually.. :-lol - but i can't help being a bit curious..
December 16, 200223 yr Scott,Hehe - i'm stupid. OK, i have zipped them and you can get them choosing this link:http://users.cybercity.dk/~dsl2726/MyFiles/DatFiles.zip:-)
December 16, 200223 yr Commercial Member try removing the spaces in the flight plan name. see if that makes any difference. everything else looks fine.i also use spaces in my flight plan names, and don't have the problem you are having. so i'm just guessing on your machine.these are fs2002 flight plan .pln files, right? where does rc go to pick up the .pln files?one other thing, did you install fs2002 into the current path, or did you move it from another partition or directory? December 17, 200223 yr I'll try that next time i create a flightplan. Funny though that it occasionally do work..It is the .pln files i'm using in RC3. I crate the flight in FSnavigator 4.5. Then i export it to Radar Contact and also to MS ATC - because i want to use the GPS window, as i then have an idea when i will be a the destination..Radar Contact gets the file from D:ProgrammerMicrosoft GamesFlightsMyFlts****.plnNow the files also is to be found in the FSnavigator Library under "FlpExport" and "Plan".. The first in .apl format - i assume that's MS ATC and in the other library in .FSN format. I'm not sure which one uses that, though i also guess it's MS ATC?
December 17, 200223 yr Lars,Don't export to Radar Contact, just to FS2000 or FS2002 format. That's the plan you're using for Radar Contact. You don't need the *.apl file.
December 17, 200223 yr Hehe - well, stupid me.. Anyway, i'm not using it, so it's just a waste of time and space..., but thank's for reminding me!! :-)
