December 13, 200223 yr I apologize as this Im sure has nothing whatsoever to do with RC3 but.... As you can see Im dead on with the localizer but the runway is way to the left. Any explanations.... mesh, afcad problem ?RegardsBobG
December 13, 200223 yr Well its tough to see the HSI, but if its tuned a degree or two off that would put you off a bit and its hard to be dead on with the HSI on most panels. Also you are way the hec above the glide slope and in real life you could get errors, but Im not sure if MSFS is that good. What airport and runway is this? What else is going on with your panel. Looks like your attitude indicator is gone and no airspeed. Pitot and Vac failure?
December 13, 200223 yr Well I actually had this happen last night. I had just slewed to this position so I could take a picture as I wouldnt normally fly this way :-) Also I flew it tonight the same route and coming from the north ATC vectored my southwest of the airport (kpdx) 36 miles before vectoring back. I dont get it. Thanks for the reply. Just a little confused.Bob
December 13, 200223 yr First-What airport and runway is it-there is a bug with one of the pdx runways if I recall correctly...?http://members.telocity.com/~geof43/Geofdog2.gif Geofa WANTED DEAD OR ALIVE-the best Flight Sim!
December 13, 200223 yr HI Geof 28L is where the localizer is off. Both flights though vectored me way to far. I requested short final every minute but the reply was there were faster a/c and I would be in the way.Bob
December 13, 200223 yr The ILS for 28L at KPDX is misaligned. This is an FS2002 bug. Search on avsim.com or flightsim.com for usnwils.zip...it will fix the problem. I'd attach the file to this message, but this forum software seems to hate my computer and I can never get any of those fancy funtions to work.Sidney Schwartz [KPDX]Horizon Pilot--flight plans and scenery for FS2002http://sidneyschwartz.homestead.com/index.htmlhttp://jdtllc.com/images/RCbeta.jpg
