December 17, 200223 yr Hi All, Clearance keeps clearing me for FL600. I've double checked my flight plans. There is no indication why it keeps doing it. Any help would be appreciated.Ron CIntel P-4 1.8 Gig512MB PC2100 DDRAMMSI G-Force 4 128MB19" MonitorSB Live ValueForcefeedback StickIs it ever enough?
December 17, 200223 yr Commercial Member what number are you putting in the cruise altitude field, on the controllers screen?what planner are you using? are you exporting to fs200x .pln file format, or .apl file format? JD Read my blog
December 17, 200223 yr Ron,Check what your cruise level is set for on the controllers page. It's in hundreds. So if you enter, say, 6000, you get FL6000. For something like 6000, enter 60. Since RC only has control to 60,000, or FL600, that's what you get cleared for.
December 17, 200223 yr Author Cruise level is set to 300 in the controllers menu. I have flown successful flights (uh-oh) I just remembered, I was doing some trouble shooting and took out FSUIPC. That may have something to do with that. I'll put it back in and then I'll let you know if that was it or not. December 17, 200223 yr Author It wasn't FSUIPC. It was the wrong formatted plan. Thanks for the help.Ron CIntel P-4 1.8 Gig512MB PC2100 DDRAMMSI G-Force 4 128MB19" MonitorSB Live ValueForcefeedback StickIs it ever enough?
December 17, 200223 yr Ron,Good. I knew it wasn't FSUIPC. You had to have it in or RC wouldn't let you run. There's this big, unfriendly, Bill-like message if RC can't find it. ;-)
