Can't get any planners to work

Featured Replies

RC3 hasn't given me any major problems that weren't easy to remedy. But, I can't get a plan of my own to work at all, which pretty much renders RC3 unuseable after you fly the tutorials.I started using SPF, but I can't figure out how to export a plan to use with FS2002. The option just isn't there. So, I tried to go with NAV3.0, since the RC manual lays out how to use it. But, I can't get NAV3 to load the airports from the .bgl files. I've got all the fixes to work, but not the airports. When I load in the tutorial flights into NAV 3.0, those airports show up. But, I can't get it to "Add" any airports I select. They aren't in the scenery. If searched all .bgl files in the FS2002 file. That doesn't do anything. There's several more problems, but I'll start with these. If anyone could help, I would be grateful. RC3 looks like it will be a lot of fun, but I can't really use it until I can file my own flight plans. Thanks in advance.Oh, and Happy Holidays to everyone!m.jpg"A girl and her plane...It's a beautiful thing."

Thanks again JD,That worked perfectly. The only problem now is that the waypoints don't show up on the main RCv3 screen. After I load the .apl file, for my KGCN to KPHX flight with a drk.ferer3 STAR, I see "KGCN to KPHX@ 15000 (Alt1-KIWA , Alt2-) /."When I load from the tutorials plans, it lists out the waypoints. This may not mean anything other than .apl files don't list out waypoints. Or maybe I'm missing a step. The NAV3 tutorial shows something about compiling an adventure, but this looks like it's for older versions of RC3. Do I need to do something else or will RC3 recognize the route I've filed?Persephone

Try exporting to FS2000 plan and using that in RC.If you still don't see waypoints, post the .pln file here.

I loaded the FS2000 exported .pln file into RC3 rather than the .apl file. And that worked. Thanks a bunch!
