December 28, 200223 yr Hi friends, what i do usually do is planning a flight using FSNavigator v4.51.After that i save the flightplan and export it to FS2002 (for FS2002 ATC). As a weather generator i use FSMeteo v5.2 that i run on a networked machine via WideFS along with Radar Contact. That way i get both RCv3 and default FSTAC via COM2!!!Now the question:when i plan a new flight i usually insert a SID or create a new one if the airport hasn't one :-(Is there a way to know exactly wich runway will ATC clear me for takeoff without listening to ATIS? Most medium-small airports have no ATIS... If i'd exactly know the runway i could build a correct flightplan.Suppose i'd look at wind direction, but really it's so simple? will wind calculation and ATC match? Should i use Flex DP checkbox instead and fly the first 30nm on my own?thanks in advance for helpingLuigi ;-)
December 28, 200223 yr Hi Luigi,We intended flexible dp to be used in this situation. All the best,John
December 28, 200223 yr Commercial Member i guess you could force a specific runway on the controllers page for your flight planyou could always tell ground which runway you want, instead of the assigned one, if you have a flight plan that is runway specific.options, options, so many options....
