is there anyone with this sound card? i need some help with a guy who can't get the sound working, even though he has the latest driver.

JD,Unless he's using the WDM drivers he won't be able to. The PCI128 is an old single-channel card that's caused many users a great headache. If someone is using the PCI128 and getting multi-channel sound, that would solve a few people's problem. I think just about everyone who had this problem in the myriad threads earlier on has upgraded to a better card.

I second that - never had much luck trying to get that card to work.Subs

Hi,Look at the sound card circuit board and find the model number. It should be something like CT-47xx. Different versions (OEM & Retail) appeard on the market and work with different drivers. I've had one, found the correct drivers and never had problems with FS2002. Post the model number and I'll tell you which drivers to use.Cheers.Gig
