Visibility 6!!!! Surely i miss something

Featured Replies

Hi friends, since i started using RCv3 Wx report has been giving a sticked "visibility 6"! Should i adjust anything in my FSUIPC/FSMeteo.ini?Just completed a wonderful fly from LEMG to GCFV with lots of turbulences during both climb and landing; if you want you can give a look at some shots i took during flight. http://ftp.avsim.com/cgi-bin/dcforum/dcboa...rum=DCForumID47Thanks for helping (as usual) ;-)Luigi

i think there is something in the fsuipc tabs that have something with setting a visibility distance. i'm away from my fs2002, so i can't tell you specifically

Anyone can help, PLEASE?Thanks in advanceLuigi ;-)

delete your fsuipc.ini file and try it againcontact the makers of your weather program and see what they have to say. i'm sure it is a setting in either fsuipc or the weather program. rc just reports what the weather programs have set the visibility.

I'm using the last versions of both FSUIPC and FSMeteo.I should delete both FSMeteo.ini and FSUIPC.ini but, after that, which setting should i choose? Thanks for answeringLuigi ;-)

Hi JD,i deleted/recreated FSUIPC.ini but nothing changed. Looking in FSMeteo preferences i noticed a voice called "Set Visibility During Rain/Snow" and the value was 6.

And in FSUIPC/visibility i have checked "Apply surface vis. limits"

Can you please suggest best settings?ThanksLuigi ;-)
