Loading Saved Flights

Featured Replies

Hi JD,I'm having a problem with loading a saved flight with FS2002 and Windows XP Home.I have several saved flights that work with no problems, all saved as Otto-Me or Me-Otto. However, I saved my last one with Otto-Otto and no way can I get it to load. The load bar will move to approx. 50% then nothing, I've waited for ten minutes, but no joy. I can move my mouse around and call up task manager which showes RC running but I can not move or minimise RC. I eventually have to shut down after task manager showed Rc as not responding. I've reloaded the flight then saved again using Otto-Me and Me-Otto all works well! I'm wondering if my cpu/ram (1.1GB Athlon, with 768MB RAM) is not capable?Have you any suggestions.

Hi JD,What was the problem here ? I started using RC with winXP and have this same problem. Have not had a problem w/win98se on flightplans created with 2002 flightplanner. Nick

for every saved xxx.dat, there is a flightsmyfltsxxx.flt, and xxx.wxall three have to be in the right place, for the load to work. i suspect when you loaded xp, the xxx.flt and xxx.wx didn't get movedjd

Hi jd,Thanks for the reply.I played with it and found that your programmed flights would'nt work along with mine, so I reinstalled the program and it worked perfect. Must have missed something on the first go-around fine now.Radar Contact worked perfect right out of the box for me it's a great piece of work. The problems I've had were my own doing not RC'sNick
