January 17, 200323 yr I use FSVavigator for Flightplanning and PSS Airbus as my default aircraft. Everything seems to work just perfect and I love it! Two queries:In order to reach Glide Slope during an IFR approach, RC seem's to guide me either too close or too high before runway. I therefore often miss the approach or have to apply for VFR approach. The PSS's flightplan sometime matches with RC's ATC telling me at the top of descent (T/D) to lower my altitude. Is that a coincidence or does RC recognise that? If not, would I have to simply apply for lower altitude?Kindest regards, Sam
January 17, 200323 yr Commercial Member i'm surprised by your first query. i've never been above the glideslope. are you sure you followed all the descent instructions?second query, pure coincidence. rc figures where you need to start your descent so that you will be 40 miles from the airport at 10000 (or 15000 for high altitude airports), assuming you are a jet. those numbers are different for turbo props and props.
