February 3, 200323 yr About to start recording and looking ahead to post-recording, I would wecome suggestions please for suitable sound editing programs able to trim, equalize and normalize. SoundForge (full edition) is too expensive for just this limited use. Are there any limited editions out there of SoundForge or other programs which will do the job?
February 3, 200323 yr If you do a web search for "wav editor" you wil see a bunch of programs, some free (all of which suck), some shareware with limite free use (also suck), and most payware.CoolEdit is popular, but I don't remember what all features it has. Do a search for it and take a look. There are varying prices for varying features. It can take a while to find anything useful.Unfortunately, with media editing you get what you pay for.
February 3, 200323 yr I used Audacity which I downloaded off the internet for FREE. I used Scott's RC Wav Recorder and Audacity and had no problems.:-wave Steve Lewis, Controller #12......
February 3, 200323 yr If you have a CD burner there is a chance it came with a program called "Nero Burning Rom". Nero comes with a program called"Nero Wave Editor" and is the program I use for editing the chatterfiles that I upload...Hope this helps.Tom.
