February 14, 200323 yr Hi jd, I had the "3 altimeter calls" on a flight a couple of days ago. If I recall correctly it was during a descent after a flight of more than an hour. I was using FSMeteo at the time. I have a question re the dat file you need. I have an autosave function running with FS so I can back up the flight to just prior to the incident. But how do I back up to save the dat file? Or do I have to start the flight over again with RC and try and save just prior to where I think the incident is going to happen?
February 14, 200323 yr Author Commercial Member autosave doesn't help me. i need the "rc" state as well as the "fs" state.fly it again, press ctrl-shift-; regularly. if it happens again, then send me the last .dat saved. it will have a funny name, but look in rcv3saved and sort on data last modifiedthere will be an associate .flt and .ex in the fs200xflightmyflts directory too. i'll need all 3 files. they should have the same file name, just different extensionswere you flying a jet or a prop, curious? February 14, 200323 yr It was a jet. I'll try to find and redo the flight but unfortunately it probably won't be until Monday. But now I know how to save the files for you. Thanks jd
February 14, 200323 yr Just as a note, the related files are *.flt and *.wx, nor *.ex (typo).I posted a tutorial of what is needed when we say "save a dat" herehttp://ftp.avsim.com/cgi-bin/dcforum/dcboa...rum=DCForumID31For auto-saving, and clicking CS-; to save from FS, the file name will look something like:2003-02-14-293845-6.dat and .flt and .wx
