AdvDisp menus not responding

Featured Replies

Had everything working, don't know what happened. Now, when I fire up RC...get the AdvDisp going the menus appear but keystrokes won't route to AdvDisp. No matter what I do I can't get it to go. The only thing I can think of that changed was I installed Project Magenta' GC on my second PC. If I tune ATIS, I RC reports the weather but I can't navigate the menus at all.Running latest versions of AdvDisp and WideFS (5.41)Help!

are you pressing the keys on the machine running fs?

Yes, I'm on the FS machine. Everything worked before with old adv display and release version of RC. Installed the new versions of WideFS, AdvDisp, RC beta and things worked. But, something must have changed because now the keystrokes are not being relayed to AdvDisp. Focused window doesn't seem to matter...whether I select the AdvDisp window or not.

advdisp is display only. no keys go to it. it doesn't accept keys.keystrokes go to fs, which is relayed via fsuipc to rc.

After submitting this post, I tried accessing MS's ATC only to find that my keystrokes (1,2,3, etc) were not being picked up there either. I've seen this before when avionics power is off...the ATC window pops up but the selections aren't available. Strange though, radios were powered up and if tuned manually to ATIS I got the info from both RC and MS ATC.I'll continue to play with it to see if I can figure out what's going on.any ideas welcome, will keep you posted...
