Controller Sound Different Problem

Featured Replies

W98SE, RC 3.00.After upgrading to FSUIPC 2.972 and ADVDISP 2.01, as well my machine to a P4 2.53 Gz (from PIII 550 Mz) 512 2700 DDR, GeForce 4 Ti4200-128 . . .The controller now speaks a phrase of a few words, then I get a two second pause, then more. At one time enroute I heard a second controller's voice interrupt with an altimeter reading. Chatter is off, FS-ATC was not activated. I did have the ATIS button checked in FSUIPC. Only COM 1 is active in this aircraft.I use the batch file to set RC at high priority.Anybody else experience this? I have not had the time to take another hour's flight since this occurred. The phrase timing problem occurred with CD and RC ATIS as well, and I'm aware for ATIS briefing that both MS ATC and RC ATC are heard simultaneously.I'll roll back to 2.96 nor the next flight, but any ideas anyone?Model was Saab 340B with upgraded panel. Will get more info.

Hi Ronzie, I run FS2002, FSMeteo and FSNav on my 2.53 MHz machine, XP PRO, and run RCv3 on my networked 200MHz Pentium Pro. All programs run at default speed. I have great success using this hookup which, I think, is the best combination for me. Minimal voice hesitation. The network is IPX/SPX.Regards
