HiLast night and a while back RC3, plus the patch, decided to forget about me in the final stages of decent and vector to final. I was flying into Norfolk, VA last night and was asked to descend to 7000 and turn to 225 ready for an ILS approach into runway 5. After 15 minutes and about a distance of 50nm I had not received any instructions to do anything. I called up approach declared an emergency and was again instructed to turn to a new heading and again nothing. Finally I had to go visual.Has anybody experienced this and is there some sort of reason for this. To cap it all off my traffic let me down leaving a 727-200 on the runway. I had to a go round on the runway. It was interesting watching another 727 land, with heavy smoke and grind to a halt behind the stationary 727.;) CheersKarl (8-|
