I keep seeing folks mention having the "patch" for V3 installed. Does it exist or is it still in beta? I dont see any mention of any patch on the RC3 web page.

There is a 3.01 beta version available. The download address is located in a message on the forum, something like "3.01 now available". There is also a message area on the forum where users have reported various problems. Both of these message areas should be easy to find.
