Hi, I am trying to conduct a flight with RC v3.0. Im trying to go from OMDB (dubai) to OJAI (Amman). The wx and clearance delivery works fine, even the push and start works great! However when I near the runway and try to contact the tower, nothing happens! The menu won't change and no communications are heard. I even tried calling the tower for my takeooff from the gate! it worked and Abort takeoff was displayed, however I could not use that option and even after takoff the menus did not work or change! Pls I desperatly need someone to help me! Any help will be appriciated. Thanks for any help:)rmaan.

question, are you letting the co-pilot handle the communications? if so, you have to set your parking brake to signal the co-pilot to contact the towerif you are doing the comms yourself, is "1-contact tower 118.75" your menu option? when you press 1, does the radio switch to 118.75?

Thanks for ur prompt reply! I am nt letting the co-pilot handle the comms because im using world airliners 777-200 by phoenix. However 1 is contact tower 118.75 and the radio does switch to 118.75 but the menu doesn't. thanks for ur reply again, i would be grateful for anymore helpthanks rmaan:)

can you try a stock ms plane/panel? that would help determine if it is the plane/panel or something else

JDHad a similar experience last night.I was flying a flight from KEWR to KATL.On approach I was handed off to an approach controller. My com radio freq. changed my menu didn't and for the life of me I couldn't communicate to the controller. I finally changed my method of approach and then went back to a vector approach and all went well after that.I belong to a VA Airline and have flown this flight plan at least 3 times with no issues with V3.01. I have all the recent updates of FlightMax, FSUIPC, AdvDisplay, and Active Sky which have been installed in the last week or so since my last " no issue " flight and they were running at the time.I chalked it up as a glitch. May have been but seeing this post I offer the info. If I see this " glitch " again, I'll let you know.

Hi thanks for ur replies!Sorry i didn't reply sooner! I just found the patch for 3.01 and installed it. So think that it might just be a glitch or something. because i rebooted my computer again and installed the patch for 3.01 and it seemed to be working! so thanks fr all ur help.
