When using the Flex DP option, how can one handle DPs that end beyond the 30 mile limit from the departure airport ? For example when flying the CHATY2.HENER DP out of 7L from KLAX I was told that I was off course whilst still flying the DP towards HENER. I was more than 30 miles from KLAX. My first filed checkpoint was 76 miles from KLAX.Thanks,Pesi

flex dp is there so you can have multiple departure procedures available for you depending on which runway you get.all dp's end when you contact center i believe. so fly your dp, but when you are told to resume own navigation, head straight for the next checkpoint
