I downloaded the 3.01 update from the RC site. When I try to install it I get "Runtime Error '53'; File not Found" and the update closes......So....What's going wrong??!?Oh yeah, I'm using WinXP Home edition

It sounds like you did not unzip the file and copy it to your rcv30 folder.Please run Windows Explorer and find rcv3.zip. Highlight it and click your right mouse button. Choose unzip on the drop down menu. Copy the file to your rcv30 folder.Don't forget to update your RCv3 shortcut target line.

Check your Radar Contact folder and make sure it contains rcv3.exe (rcv3.01) or rcv31.exe (rcv3.1) or both depending on the versions you have installed.Also check your Radar Contact shortcut and make sure it is pointing to rcv3.exe (if your running rcv3.01) or rcv31.exe (if you are running rcv3.1).

I think I have so many screwed up flight plans, I deleted them. Now that I restored them It works now. Now I am back to where I started:-fume Unable to export from FSNavigator, and unable to start RC using the FS200X pln button.

When you export a flight plan from FSNavigator tell me step by step how you do it (what buttons are pushed).

Start CF9,F5 to open FS Nav 4.6,plan,open, click on KHYAKALB,fsn from FSN plan folder,export,Radar Contact,ok,save as KHYAKALB.fsn,open Radar Contact 3.1,fs200x button,rcv saved folder,click on KHYAKALB.pln, open and nothing happens. Then I try the rcv2x apl button nothing loads. I find another apl FP file in rcv 3.1 main folder, it loads with no waypoints.Here is the FP. With your flight plan loaded in FSNav:1. Click on Plan2. Click on Export.3. Highlight FS2004 or FS2002 (whichever you are running) and click OK. (making sure to point it to where your flight plans are stored in Flight Simulator).Your mistake is exporting to Radar Contact. You want to export it to Flight Simulator.To load in Radar Contact:1. Click on FS200x2. Highlight the plan you just exported in FSNav.As JD has mentioned, page 48 of the RCv3 manual gives you a step by step procedure on how to properly use FSNav and RC. Please take the time to look it over.
