I am running on a networked PC running Windows 2000. The RCV31.EXE file is dated 06/20/2003 16:43 and the version under file properties is 3.10.0.2169.Thanks!

Hi JD,FS2002 is on one machine (running XP) and RC is on a second PC (running Windows 2000 SP4). On the beta version, the splash screen does not appear... the only thing I see is the Windows error message. Thanks!Bryan

hmmmi read 4 files at that point. rcv3.dat, aircraft.dat, keyboard.dat and airspace.csvdo you have all 4 files? have you changed any of them? zip up those 4 files, and send them to me.also, are you using any command line switches on the shortcut that starts rcv31? if so, you don't need to. just execute rcv31.exe plain and simplejd

The problem turned out to be the name of the directory where I had RC loaded (it was named "rcv30"). For some reason, the beta version would get the above windows error if it was in a directory that had numbers in its name. I renamed my directory "rc" and all is now working.Bryan
