July 13, 200322 yr Hi friends,i usually fly using, as well documented in RC manual, two cable linked PC's and so both RCv3 and FS2k2 ATC.Just one thought: is there a way, when approaching final destination, to anticipate FS2k2 ATC menu airport option? CAnnot see my destination apt in the list.I want to say that i'd like to follow FS2k2 pattern instructions but often they're not available when RCv3 approach give me vectors for final approach and so i have to accept those vectors and then change rwy (maybe when i'm already close to apt). Thanks in advance for helpingLuigi ;-)
July 15, 200322 yr Commercial Member don't understand the question. what does it matter what ms atc is doing?if you want to know what they are doing, maybe you can tune in the ms atc on the other comm, and listen to what they are telling the other planes, and make your rc requests to rc when you know what they are doingjd JD Read my blog
July 16, 200322 yr Luigi,Do you mean you wish to know which runway(s) are being used for landing at your destination airport by MS ATC?I too would like to know this at some distance from the airport so allowing one to join in the traffic stream.Laurie WhelanBrisbane, Australiahttp://jdtllc.com/images/RCsupporter.jpg
July 16, 200322 yr You're right! But when entering airport options you cannot see desired apt if you're not in 25 nm range; and RC is already giving you vectors for a rwy that often is different from ms one.How can you join ms traffic this way?ThanksLuigi ;-)
