Strange sound ...

Featured Replies

This was my third flight on my new PC with Windows XP. The first two times when i was flying in a B737, everything was perfect - including Radar Contact. However - today, flying a LearJet, the sound insisted in getting weird. That's the sound of the controllers, the pilot and the co-pilot. Sounded like they had a soar throat. Now - i'm not ruling out totally that it can be windows, though i don't have any problems in any of the other applications. And i have neither installed - removed or changed any settings.Have anyone else experienced sound problems like this?It was the same whether i used vers. 3.01 or 3.10.Btw. I changed the time some 10 min. during the flight - and the US chatter disappeared...CheersLars

don't change the time, or chatter will disappear :-)

Oops - thank's John. Seem to have missed something in the manual i guess.. For a long time i have been using this freeware program FS Real Time, which keeps the time sync. with real time. But now i've got Windows XP, it keeps freezing. Have a feeling it's not meant for XP.. :-( But that's why i haven't had to change the time for a very, very long time. Now i'm just curious to see if i get the sound problem again today. Have some hope that someone - maybe other users of XP, has experienced this and have an idea what it can be. CheersLars
