RC3.1 Nice Touches!

Featured Replies

Compliments to JD et al for the RC3.1 upgrade ...A few things that was 'way cool':1. As I taxied to SFO1 1R tower gave me position and hold on 1R. I get into position, and wait, and wait, and wait, and wait, .... I happen to keep my forward zoom at 0.60 so at first I did not notice the 3 aircraft taxiing to 28L/R for departure - and needing to cross 1R to do so. As I watched the third clear 1R, tower came back and cleared me to takeoff. :-cool2. As we know, the major update was the AI traffic advisories. It was nice in the previous version to have simulated traffic advisories, but its a totally difference experience to be vectored for approach and getting traffic advisories, looking *and seeing* the traffic. Way cool! :-cool3. Cleanups on the menu items, etc. I noticed that when on final I had the opportunity to announce "field in sight" (rather than request visual approach which was really announcing "field in sight".)What was a very good experience has been taken to a higher level. Keep up the great work.PS: One concern: with the advent of FS2004 will you maintain updates for both FS2004 and FS2002? Those of us that fly 767PIC expect to continue using FS2002 for reason of compatibility.Thanks.-michael
