FSUIPC

Featured Replies

Hi,I'm trying out your new 3.1 beta with FS2004 you released tonight but FSUIPC is not communicating. The AdvDisplay shows nothing once I start RC. I checked FSUIPC and it says its unregistered which it is, I hit for access key but it asks for a code and the name of the program to run with before the .exe Maybe I'm just being dim here but am I missing something. Also when I click FS200* plan and load up the plan in the flight directory under "My Documents" it shows the the Dep and Dest airport along with the altitude but for the route it shows K5.K5.K5.K5.K5Any help appreciated,Sean

fsuipc is unregistered for you, unless you purchase it from peter. rcv31.exe has the necessary code to communicate with fsuipc. it is working with my beta testers that have fs2004, and it works for me with fs2002.do you have fsuipc 3.0 in the modules directory, and advdisp 2.11 in modules?send me your .pln, i'll load it up herejd

JD,I checked and FSUIPC is in my Modules directory of FS9 and so is ADVDIS which works fine. I also loaded up ACTIVESKY and it is communicating with FS2004 just fine. There is a FSUIPC Text file within the modules directory and it constantly repeats this message:FilesUI generated flight.flt 69375 Clear All Weather requested: external weather discarded 218703 Client Application: "rcv31" (Id=704) 218703 D:rcv30rcv31.exe 218703 Product="Radar Contact" 218703 Company="JDT LLC" 218703 ... but not accredited for use with this unregistered FSUIPCI will email you my plan right now.Sean

Hi JD,Just some more info, I can watch that text file in the modules directory continue to grow with that message over and over.Like I said I d/l the new ACTIVESKY and it uses that FSUIPC 3 also. Thanks for the support,Sean

The build is:3.10.2187I checked the .exe properties it says Modified July 25, 2003 12:19:20 pm.Sean

i just sent you a new build, that fixes the change in .pln format problemjd

JD,That version fixes how the flight plan shows up in the RC GUI but it is still unable to talk to FS9 via FSUIPC still that same message in the text file as before.3938609 Client Application: "rcv31" (Id=916) 3938609 D:rcv30rcv31.exe 3938609 Product="Radar Contact" 3938609 Company="JDT LLC" 3938609 ... but not accredited for use with this unregistered FSUIPCSean

looking at it. actually some one else is looking at it.

Thanks JD for your help all is good in FS land now.Sean

JD,With build 2191 of Radar Contactand with FS2002 the following happens in my case after the plan is loaded etc. When the 'Start RCv3' button is clicked.in the log file: FSUIPC.txt there are two 'Not Accredited' messages logged followed by an 'Auto-Registered' message each time Radar Contact is started. I would assume this is todo with timimg ie. when RCv3 loads up and 'talks' to FSUIPC.If I try to start FS_Meteo I get dozens of the 'Not Accredited' messages while it is waiting for FSUIPC which is not compatible with it yet. As I said this is with FS2002 not FS2004 but would be the same.Laurie WhelanBrisbane, Australiahttp://jdtllc.com/images/RCsupporter.jpg

I got this with FS2004 but JD got it all fixed but I have not tried it with FS2002 for I still use the last freeware version of FSUIPC for FS2002. If it aint broke don't fix it. :)I don't know if FSMETEO has registered with Pete Dowson for a liscense to run yet. All developers must get a key file from pete and put the info in their program or else it will say it is "Not Accredited". I would recommend you continue to use the older FSUIPC version for FS2002.Sean
